Juicy Couture Trenchcoat via Neiman Marcus

So, I was looking through the Neiman Marcus catalogue, Sak's Fifthe Avenue catalogue, Bloomingdale's catalogue, and Instyle Magazine the other day. They all had one thing in common: trenchcoats. I've always wanted a trenchcoat, but I never had a chance to buy one. I really liked the Juicy Couture one above, but when I saw the price tag, I decided to hold off. But, with my luck, I was able to find a reallyreally cute one at H&M. I loveloveLOVE that store. :D I'm just gonna have to wait for the right occasion to rock it. :)

Rayban has always been such a cool brand, ever since the aviators. I know the Wayfarers are an old style, but I guess I never really paid any attention to them because whenever I thought ot Rayban, I thought Aviators. But the Wayfarers are so damn cool. I wannntt them. I highly doubt they'll look good on me though. -__-

Valentine's Day is coming!

Valentine's Day is coming up soon, and I just felt like internet browsing for stuff that I wish I could get. Tiffany and Co. was the first thing that popped into my head so I went to the website, and I found a lottt of cute stuff. I really like the three necklaces, especially the one with the pearl and the double heart one (which can be engraved). To my boyfriend, if you're reading this (which I know you are), here are some hints. hahaha. Just kidding. My boyfriend already told me what he's getting me, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to go. :) He always seems to make everything perfect, which I love. Last year, her gave me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from Rita Flora on La Brea. I still haven't figured out what to get him, but I know it's going to pale in comparison. >_<

Winter Formal

So it's my school's winter formal, which I'm really excited about since I'm 1 of 6 people on the planning committee. Usually, my school's dances aren't very... good. So, this year, that's all going to change. We actually put a lot of effort into it and are putting our school's name on the map! I think the dance's name Exposure really applies. At first, I thought it was really odd, but now my interpretation of it is that we are exposing our school and getting it know. The Hollywood theme is going to be awesssome. I just hope it all doesn't fall apart in the end. *knocks on wood* We'll just have to see how it goes.

And yes, I designed the official flyer and tickets for the dance. hahaha. Oh how I love tooting my own horn. :)

Spring Dresses

Even though it's still winter, I'm still looking forward to spring! I've started looking for stuff to buy, and I found some really cute, flowy dresses at Urban Outfitters. But being as it is LA, I guess I could wear this stuff now... hmmm... time to go shopping! ;)

I especially love the last two. They're so cute! I'm really diggin` the color of the last one because purple is my favorite color! :)

Sneaker Culture on ABC News

Recently, ABC news did a report on the sneakerhead culture. I thought it was really interesting, but it just made sneakerheads look like a bunch of spenthrifts who waste all of their money on $3,000 shoes. =/

I LOVE HUGE SUNGLASSES.

Karen Walker, a famous designer in New Zealand, I believe, has a line of eyeware, which is absolutley too cute! Though I don't look to great in big, futuristic, square ones, the TV Lands(square ones) look pretty cool. I think I'd opt for the Wonderlands (big round bug-eyed ones) :D
Too bad they're sold out at Barney's on Wilshire. Maybe they'll have them in the new Barney's co-op store they're opening at the Grove?

Oh my oh my. Eluxury is having a sale on jeans. Oh how I wish I had the money to buy everything on that website. Anywho, enough dreaming from me, here are my picks. :D

I'm a bigbigBIG fan of skinny jeans. My favorite brand is J Brand, but I have yet to find a pair of skinny jeans short enough to fit me. >_<

Another day, another blog.

After seeing all of these new blogs about clothes and fashion, I decided to create my own fashion oriented blog. One of those inspiring blogs happens to be Nitro:licious. I visit her website religiously! :D
I also wanted to combine two of my passions: fashion and sneakers. I guess you could call me a novice sneakerhead. For those who don't know what that term means, it describes people who are avid collectors of sneakers of all types, a sneaker connoisseur, in other words. Though I am just starting to build up a collection, I have been pushed into the sneakerhead frenzy, full force.
Though people may say that it is a completely materialistic "hobby," I would say that it really isn't. There is so much culture surrounding sneakers. Different types of art, music, etc. have all stemmed from the sneakerhead culture. In some ways, it is a way for people to really express themselves, fashionwise. I have yet to meet a sneakerhead who blends in with the crowd.

But this blog isn't entirely about sneakers. My other love is fashion. Somtimes I find it hard to mix haute couture fashion and the urban sneakerhead scene because they are such different things. However, I have learned that both exhibit a key ideal: to stand out from the crowd. And if you know me, you'd know that I'm not one to be a wallflower. :)
